The Premier Will Hodgman states there’s “no evidence” to aid claims of political interference within child protection, despite three whistleblowers coming toward air accusations.
The kid protection staff, some who’ve now left, claim it is nearly impossible to operate within the system with one saying it’s the “worst” ever.
The allegations made anonymously include staff being told to not include children’s disclosures in situation notes, that they say was an attempt to place the department’s image over the welfare of youthful people.
Mr Hodgman stated the problem have been investigated through the Department of Health insurance and Human Services secretary (DHSS) Michael Pervan.

Children’s Commissioner to speak to Government
